Welcome, we hope this page will assist media members and answer questions concerning the 2022 Manning Passing Academy held on the campus of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La. June 23-26 .
Media members are encouraged to go to Facebook Groups and request to join the Manning Passing Academy Media Group. You may follow the group page for any up-to-date or last-minute posts before and during camp. If you haven't done so already, please request to join the group.

Media members wishing to cover the camp and/or will be sending other members from your organization would need to be put on a list and have a credential issued. Please submit an email request for credentials to Greg Blackwell at Greg@ManningPassingAcademy.com, no later than the Monday before camp begins.
The Manning Passing Academy is a prep football skills camp and not a college or NFL-type training camp, so we do not offer daily media briefings, notes, quotes, etc. Our camp directors, administrators, coaches, counselors and campers are not obligated to participate in any interviews.
There will be one authorized interview session for the media to interview the Manning Family as well as selected camp administrators, coaches and counselors that have agreed to attend.
The interview session is held from 11:00 am to 11:45 am on Friday in the Century Club room underneath the stands, parking lot entrance side of Guidry Stadium.
The interview procedure is as follows:
- Press Conference Begins 11:00 a.m.
- Archie Manning will welcome attendees and give brief statement
- Manning group photo (Archie, Cooper, Peyton, Eli) in front of camp backdrop
- Archie, Peyton and Eli will break out to their respective break-out interview areas for Q & A
- At approximately 11:15 a.m.: The selected camp counselors, coaches and staff, who agreed to do interviews, will be made available for their interviews at break out areas, in the Century Club room.
- At approximately 11:45 a.m.: The interview session will conclude and the Century Club room will close and will be off limits to all media. Please plan on leaving the interview area after the interviews have concluded.
- If you need a place to file your story, accommodations can be made by contacting the Nicholls State Athletic Media Relations office prior to the interview session.
This will be the only opportunity to interview the Manning Family during camp. No special or one-on-one exclusive interviews will be granted during the informal media gathering or at any time during camp. Reminder: No AUTOGRAPHS or SELFIES during any part of the press conference, QB competitions and/or while covering this event.
There will be a photo opportunity for the media during the Friday Night Lights QB Competitions on Friday evening at Guidry Stadium.
This event takes the place of the Saturday MPA event.
Camp coaches and college counselors, including selected campers, will run passing route drills in front of campers and those in attendance at Guidry Stadium that evening. It is a PHOTO OPPORTUNITY ONLY, NO INTERVIEWS. Media photographers/videographers may shoot in the stands and/or in the specific designated area on the sidelines of the field during this event.
Credentialed Media Members may watch and shoot footage in designated areas inside the fence of the main practice complex (fields), Guidry Stadium, and between any marked practice fields on campus.
Credentials must always be worn. Face covering is highly recommended.
Please do not:
- Disrupt campers or coaches/counselors on the fields during this time.
- Seek AUTOGRAPHS, SELFIES, or INTERVIEWS on any field, anytime.
- Enter the cafeteria area, dorm rooms or the main field during any roll call.
